Petrolheadonism Live diary

Petrolheadonism Live 2022 was hosted by Knebworth House, Hertfordshire (24/25 September) and presented spectators with the opportunity to get up close and personal with an impressive line-up of celebrity guests as well as countless classics, supercars and hypercars. 

Amongst those attending the event were Gas Monkey Garage’s Richard Rawlings, Big Chris, Tavarish, Mat Watson, Shmee150, Helen Stanley, Ruby Rides, Peter Hickman, AdamC and Ratarossa.

VIP guests enjoyed food catered from PaddlUp’s chrome-bodied Rocket Caravans mobile catering unit that Petrolheadonism borrowed for this event.

PaddlUp’s display was presented in a commanding gazebo alongside Zachs Garage, Engler, Kaaimans and a Red Bull World Series car. We brought with us our Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster, Alfa Romeo 8C and the 2022 Lamborghini Huracan STO currently LIVE on our site.

Directly opposite our stand was Shmee150’s display of cars which comprised almost his entire collection, including the Ford GT, McLaren Senna, Ferrari SF 90 and many more.

The venue welcomed a swathe of stunning examples from Americana, Max Power retro modified, Cosworths, supercars, JDM, Liberty Walk specimens and race cars. There was a wonderful blend of everything automotive, alongside a mass of motorbikes too, courtesy of Thornton Hundred Motorcycles.

During the event, a wayward Aventador began to roll down a gradient on a direct collision course with our 8C. Mercifully, it was brought to a halt by unsuspecting bystanders, just shy of the gazebo perimeter. Apparently, the PaddlUp stand was the place to be!
