A grand day out: Cornwood Finance and PopBangColour visit PaddlUp
Wednesday, 9 February saw us host our first exclusive event at The PaddlUp Rooms. We were pleased to invite and host Cornwood Finance and their clients to our state-of-the-art facility for an invitation only open morning.
We had our trusty custom-built 'Rocket' mobile catering unit up and running, providing fresh coffees, teas and pastries upon arrival.
The PaddlUp vehicle storage unit was open to viewings of our 42-car rack and stack system, we positioned our 911T on the scissor ramp, thus demonstrating how visual inspections are carried out when they are requested by prospective buyers before, during, and after any auction, or 'buy it now'.
Moving across to The Gallery next door, guests entered to find PopBangColour immersed in his ‘Paint With Cars’ live display. Surrounded by various tyres, remote control cars, hot wheels, and paints, Ian entertained our guests using his unconventional methods to paint our wrapped F40 on a canvas – that we will proudly display at our HQ – within ‘The Gallery’, our aptly-named showroom where we exhibit a number of his fabulous pieces, situated alongside some spectacular supercars.
Encircling the live art display, was our wrapped F40 and the stunning Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti nestled under our PaddlUp branded Airshroud, awaiting its midday unveiling.
At the rear of The Gallery was housed a delivery mileage Ferrari F430, a Ferrari 599 SA Aperta and also a rather special 70th Anniversary Ferrari GTC4Lusso, all displayed amongst some incredible PopBangColour pieces.
Moving upstairs, the guests took to our four Base Performance Blade simulators unleashing their competitive side, battling it out on Assetto Corsa at Brands Hatch. Those that weren’t taking on the track, were enjoying our comfortable seating area in our coffee lounge – admiring our stunning panoramic views of the Wiltshire countryside.
Lunch was served up by the PaddlUp experience team from our Airstream-styled catering which included a range of fresh paninis. Once people had enjoyed their lunch, we unveiled the 488 Pista Piloti from under its Airshroud cover to launch its live auction listing. The Blu Tour de France paint, decorated with Tricolore striping and World Endurance Championship commemorative details, glistened under The Gallery lights. Outside saw a display of the racing trio of Ferrari Challenge cars comprising an F430 Challenge, 458 Challenge and 488 Challenge. As guests explored the venue, they were then greeted by our guest-car line up which included a 992 Porsche Carrera S, Rolls Royce Wraith, Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DB11, plus many more!
Beyond them, placed in front of the gorgeous greenery were two extensively restored and re-engineered Kingsley Range Rovers. They suited the backdrop perfectly, and were joined by a guest's immaculate 2021 Green over Tan Range Rover SV Autobiography Ultimate Edition.
We had a fantastic day showing guests around The PaddlUp Rooms chatting in depth about what, why and how we do things at PaddlUp. It was also an opportunity for guests to be introduced to our knowledgeable and friendly team who are on hand to support throughout your supercar selling and buying journey.
