PaddlUp sim days hosted at BPS!
Enter the world of a Formula 1 driver behind the wheel of the single-seater.
If sports cars are more your thing - The GT Simulator is a real Aston Martin GT Chassis, with a full cockpit and roll cage.
You will spend the day with dedicated race team engineers coaching you live with driver analytics and lap times throughout.
A maximum group size of 10 ensures you will have an optimum sim experience!

GT Simulator
- A real GT car chassis with full roll cage.
- Mechanically-adjustable sliding Alcon 3-pedal box.
- Integrated cockpit brake bias adjuster.
- 25Nm direct drive steering motor delivering detailed force feedback & replicating real steering torque from any race car.
- Custom membrane switch panel allowing control of the simulator software from the drivers seat.
- Cooling fans and LED cockpit lighting.
- Live telemetry is transmitted to the control room.
Single-Seater Simulator
- Bespoke BPS 2-pedal box system.
- Electronically sliding pedal box.
- 25Nm direct drive steering motor - delivering detailed force feedback & replicating real steering torque from any race car.
- Steering wheel complete with LCD screen.
- MOOG 6-DOF motion platform.
- 6 meter wrap around screen.
- Live telemetry is transmitted to the control room.

Base Performance Simulators located near Banbury, just 20 minutes from Silverstone, are manufacturers of the Blade simulators, four of which can be found at The PaddlUp Rooms!
Led by three-time Le Mans winning Aston Martin factory driver, Darren Turner, a small, but experienced team bring a variety of skills to make the company work for its customers.
With 20 years of experience in developing cutting-edge Formula 1 simulators, Darren has a unique insight into the science of racing simulation. A former winner and subsequent judge of the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year Award, he knows what is important when it comes to driver training and development.
Typical Agenda
What your day will look like (based on 10 participants):
- 9:00 am - Meet at BPS.
- 9:15 am - Driver briefing with Coffee and Pastries
- 9:30 am - Start your day in the Single-Seater Sim
- 13:00 pm - Break for Lunch
- 13:30 pm - Spend your afternoon in the GT Sim
- 16:30 pm - Trophy presentation
- 17:00 pm - Finish
