More:
The 7th generation of the 911 (model designation 991) had an even more muscular look which was a bit more assertive and more advanced than its predecessors. For the 991 Porsche developed an entirely new platform, only the third since the 911's introduction in 1963.
Wider wings arch over the larger 20-inch wheels with the rear body being 44 mm wider. The front end was now 45 mm wider and revived a traditional feature of earlier 911 generations: a forward-extended bonnet with a distinctive recess in front of the windscreen. These elements lengthen the front of the vehicle and give it a more dynamic look, while a new transaxle enabled the rear wheels to be moved 3 inches backward in relation to the position of the engine, giving a significant improvement in weight distribution and cornering performance.
Newly developed LED headlights illustrate how technology had advanced in the 911. The headlights are integrated into the wings almost seamlessly, taking the typically-911 round and upright form. Flush integration of the electrical pop-out handles in the doors emphasises the tapered and smooth side contour, and the exterior mirrors were also redesigned to minimise wind noise.
This particular example has been in the care of its 5th owner since July of 2020 and comes with a handsome specification and colour scheme. Of special note is the Porsche Sports Design Aerokit rear ducktail spoiler - a very rare option. A nice touch being the panoramic sunroof benefiting from an electric sunshade and of course all the usual 'wanted' options, such as Porsche switchable sports exhaust system, Sport Chrono plus and the carbon interior package.
