As a response to rapidly changing consumer attitudes and motivations, we have opted to split our fees, meaning buyers and sellers now share the responsibility of covering any associated costs. This represents a shift in mentality, taking a step back to the traditional auction concept of split fees. This hammers home PaddlUp’s unique blend of traditional values in the shape of its people-centric service and physical showroom – housing a range of used supercars from the likes of Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche and many more – with a contemporary digital-led approach.

The model itself.

In this refined model, both the buyer and the seller pay three per cent each to cover PaddlUp's service cost. A switch from a six per cent buyer’s fee to a 50/50 split may not look like a seismic shift from a seller’s perspective, but for a buyer, paying three per cent less than the industry standard serves as a potent incentive. The end result is that the seller is unaffected, receiving the same final figure they would have under the old model but the buyer pays three per cent less and ultimately, with more competitive prices there are more eyes on each listing and a sale can be achieved sooner.

PaddlUp’s no-compromise modus operandi and willingness to adapt mean the benefits are passed onto you, the clients; half the cost, twice the service. These changes are the result of extensive client research. We asked you what you wanted out of a used supercar buying and selling platform, you answered and we listened. Your best interest is at the heart of everything we offer.

Tailored sales programmes for maximum impact.

This distinctive fee system is also accompanied by a new SOR (sale or return) house strategy. Your car is listed for seven days under a 'coming soon' banner, it will then be for sale at a fixed, 'buy it now' price for another seven days, followed by a seven-day ‘open to offers’ period before it heads to the all-important, seven-day auction. That’s not to say this strategy is set in stone, far from it in fact. PaddlUp tailors its sales programme to suit your needs and our concierge team understands that some people prefer auctions over buy it now and vice versa. One size fits all doesn’t cut it in today’s climate. We want you to achieve the best result in the most seamless way possible.

No sale, no fee, no fuss!

This new-fangled approach also encompasses a no-sale, no-fee basis. If a used supercar, sports car or performance car is returned to a client for any reason, return mileage (outside of a specified delivery range) is the only cost to you. You won’t encounter any other hidden costs should you decide you no longer want to sell your car with us.
